Messenger was awarded the contract for the repair, improvement and refurbishment works to the Grade I Listed Lord Leycester Hospital.
The works comprised of:
- Reroofing and repairs to the roof
- Structural repairs to the historic timber frame
- Repairs and new plastering in lime plasters and renders
- New M&E including heating systems and underfloor heating
- New passenger lifts
- New joinery and metalwork
- Flooring including timber, stone and repairs to historic flooring
- Decoration internally and externally
- Conservation works including repairs to masonry, adaption of timber doors and windows, metal casement windows and leaded lights
- External landscaping
