Stamford and Peterborough College Construction Events

For several years Roger, our Plumbing Manager, has assisted The South Lincolnshire Group Training Associate at both Peterborough and Stamford Colleges. The events include a variety of have-a-go construction activities offered to students from local secondary schools to inspire them to be tradespeople of the future. The activities include historic building techniques consisting of rammed earth and mortars, plant mechanics, civil engineering, design, trade skills, surveying and more. Roger delivered a number of practical plumbing sessions across the two days with some great feedback from both students and teachers.
