Spring Expansion27th March 2018
Spring sees the opening of the new Messenger Head Office at the Collyweston Heritage Centre, as well as a specialist Conservation and Restoration department in the West Midlands. This branch will be headed up by Ian Bird who has 30 years’ experience within this sector.
Ian’s portfolio is most impressive! He has worked on some of the country’s most treasured historical buildings including Chatsworth House, Stowe School and Knole House.
With an evident passion for protecting the country’s built heritage, combined with extensive experience in project delivery and client management, technical understanding of traditional crafts and the integration of state-of-the-art service installations, Ian is a clear asset to the Messenger team.
Commenting on the venture, Messenger MD Paul Gibbons said: “Appointing Ian and establishing a new specialist Regional Office will strengthen our presence in the West Midlands. Ian has considerable experience and contacts in the field of Conservation and Restoration and is already well known to many of the Messenger team. I’m really delighted to have him working with us.”
In the short-term Ian will be based at the Messenger Birmingham Office which deals predominately with insurance related repair, however, he is currently looking for additional office space in the West Midlands.
