Oundle Mill

Oundle Mill dates back to the 1690’s and is a magnificent four story limestone water mill standing on the banks of the river Nene. A restaurant since the 1960’s Oundle Mill was acquired and refurbished in 2008 by Agellus Hotels. In December 2012 following heavy rain, the river rose and flooded the ground floor of the building including the reception area, offices and WC’s.

Brief Description of Works: 

Pump out remaining water, sanitise and dry the building and then strip out all of the ground floor to approximately 1m in height and reinstate using materials to match the existing. Manufacture and install flood defence systems to protect from future flooding.
